Statement
of Faith
Yvonne Conte & Psalm 16:8 Ministries believes
the Bible is God’s word. The Scriptures
are divinely inspired, truthful, authoritative,
and infallible in matters of faith and practice
and the ultimate standard for living a life
that pleases and is blessed by God.
We believe in one true and living God, eternally
existing in three persons: the Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit. Our God is perfect in holiness,
wisdom, power, goodness, mercy, justice, and
love. He involves himself actively in human
affairs, hears and answers prayers, saves from
sin and death all who come to him through Jesus
Christ.
We believe Jesus Christ was conceived by the
Holy Spirit and born to a virgin. That He is
fully God and man. He is humanity as God intended
it to be. We believe in his miracles, teachings,
and sinless life; his death on the cross; resurrection;
and ascension into heaven. We believe that renewal
by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for
the salvation of mankind.
We are enabled to live a Godly life only through
the ministry of the Holy Spirit who dwells within
the Christian believer by faith. From the moment
of spiritual birth, the Holy Spirit continually
is able to fill the believer until the day of
redemption. We are justified through faith in
Christ by grace. Our redemption comes by Christ
Jesus alone, not by our works or religious ceremonies.
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is
the cornerstone to fulfilling God’s will
in one’s life.
We believe that all people are created in God’s
image which secures and establishes their value.
All people are also sinners by nature and choice,
and are therefore under condemnation. We believe
that God forgives, regenerates, and makes righteous
those who repent of their sins and place their
full faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

“I
know the Lord is always with me.
I will not be shaken for He is right beside
me.”
We believe that salvation is a gift of grace
from God, received by faith bringing new, abundant,
and eternal life. We believe that the Lord Jesus
Christ committed two ordinances to the church
for believers: baptism and communion.
We believe in the return of Christ to earth.
We believe in the resurrection of the body and
judgment of the living and dead. We believe
in the eternal punishment of the unrighteous,
who will be separated forever from the presence
of God. And we believe in the eternal blessing
of the righteous, who will be united forever
with the God who loves them and has redeemed
them. At the end of time, God will reign in
glory over a new heaven and a new earth, recreated
by his might power, where he will be forever
worshiped, enjoyed and loved.
